Orientation Program for students of FCH, FMeS, FCA, FAS and FPA organised on 7th July 2015

With dreams in their eyes and to make it big in the professional world, the fresh batch of students at FCH, FMeS, FCA, FAS & FPA walked into the MRIU campus today. To welcome them in this new journey and to facilitate a smooth transformation into college life, an orientation program was organized today at the campus. The program began with the auspicious Hawan Ceremony which was attended by all students, and senior functionaries of the respective Departments. Dr. M.M. Kathuria, General Secretary, MREI; Dr. N.C. Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor, MRIU, Dr. V.K. Mahna, Pro Vice Chancellor, MRIU were among the dignitaries present on the occasion. Budding leaders, budding journalists, and budding physiotherapists came into the campus with a confused expression, but went back with the confidence and the re-affirmation of a bright future. Students also planted trees in the campus under the UGC campaignOne student, One tree. Dr. N.C. Wadhwa’s speech filled students with a new zeal and enthusiasm. He said, “This is a very special day of your life and the beginning of your professional career. Enjoy your freedom but don’t forget to fix boundaries because you have to decide what kind of student you want to be”. He also spoke at length about the placements, infrastructure, sports, library, cafaterias, labs and other facilities at MRIU.
